How to Watch Every Netflix Show in Any Country?

Depending on where you live, you can watch a different selection of Netflix movies and TV shows. Depending on where you are, the Netflix collection may be quite different. However, there are a few workarounds that can be used to gain entry to other libraries. As an example, if you’d like to watch Netflix in the United States while you’re in the United Kingdom.

In this article, we explain why Netflix content varies from country to country and how you can access all of Netflix’s content no matter where you are in the world.

How to Watch Every Netflix Show in Any Country?

Why Does the Netflix Library Differ Internationally?

Reed Hastings, Netflix’s CEO, says that the Netflix catalog is different in each country because of territorial licensing. It works like this.

Movie and television producers are always looking for ways to increase the value of the content they create. As a result, their work is licensed to a variety of content providers around the world. Naturally, the rights to a film are awarded to the highest bidder. Let’s take a look at Star Wars as an example.

Netflix has to decide if enough people in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and other regions will watch Star Wars in order to recoup the cost of purchasing the rights.

This decision will be based on the results of Netflix’s research, which shows that Star Wars is a popular franchise among American viewers but not among Indian viewers. As a result, while Netflix subscribers in the United States will have access to Star Wars, those in India will not.

If Netflix’s research shows that Star Wars is popular in both the United States and India, it will then bid for the territorial license for both regions. Other distributors, on the other hand, may charge a premium for the Indian territorial license or even own it already. Again, Star Wars will be available to Netflix subscribers in the United States, but not in India.

Netflix’s library varies from region to region because of audience interest and licensing agreements.

Netflix is working hard to ensure that all of Netflix’s content is available to anyone, regardless of where they live. That, on the other hand, will take time. As a result, different Netflix libraries will be available in different countries for the time being.

How to Watch Netflix From a Different Country

VPNs aren’t foolproof when it comes to streaming services like Netflix. You can only watch shows and movies that are available worldwide if you use a virtual private network (VPN), according to the Netflix Help Center. Netflix, on the other hand, suggests that your collection will be reduced.

However, if you use a VPN, you can easily access Netflix’s library from another country (more on that below). DNS tunneling, also known as Smart DNS, is another option. Both methods accomplish the same thing: they trick Netflix into believing your device is located in a different region than it actually is.

Some drawbacks do exist, however, with regard to these approaches. It is not possible, for example, to stream Netflix from your phone to your TV via Chromecast. Streaming and buffering may also suffer as a result of these methods. On the other hand, you’ll be able to access a much larger collection of movies and TV shows.

Can You Access Another Country’s Netflix Library Using a VPN?

Despite what Netflix claims, you can use your current Netflix account to access the Netflix catalog of a different country. If you’re a Netflix fan, you might think that using a VPN would primarily allow you to access your country’s Netflix library while you’re on the road. However, this isn’t the case. Our experience, however, was different.

We used a US VPN to create a new Netflix account in Canada. To use our Canadian credit card, we had to use a different ZIP code. Even though our credit card payment went through when we used PayPal, we were unable to access the US Netflix library, which we confirmed by trying to access various shows available in the US, but not in Canada.

Blade Runner – The Final Cut was no longer available when the VPN was turned off. It was an unexpected bonus when, at the time of writing, Terminator 2 – Judgement Day was only available in Canada’s Netflix library. When we changed our VPN to access the UK and German Netflix libraries, the same thing happened. We were suddenly able to watch The Lives of Others, which is only available in Germany, and Amélie, who is only available in France (UK, France, Japan, and South Korea).

Changing Your Country by Using Netflix With a VPN

While a proxy DNS can be used to circumvent geo-restricted content, it also exposes you to additional security risks. It’s safer and more secure to watch Netflix through a VPN. Most importantly, however, is the ease with which VPNs can be set up.

This gives you some leeway when it comes to finding a reliable VPN that works for you. (Netflix blocks most free VPNs, but many paid VPN services are still accessible.)” All of them go through the same procedure:

  1. Install a VPN.
  2. Turn your VPN on.
  3. In the VPN menu, select the country whose Netflix library you want to access.
  4. Now open the Netflix app or website and enjoy that country’s catalog.

Watching Netflix From Another Country With Smart DNS

Netflix has made it more difficult than ever to use Smart DNS to access another country’s catalog, in contrast to services like YouTube, where Smart DNS can be used to bypass region-blocked content.

Smart DNS eliminates the need for an intermediary server between you and Netflix, resulting in faster streaming speeds. High-quality streams, like 4K videos, make this point especially clear.

You have fewer choices with Smart DNS than with VPNs if you want to watch Netflix abroad. Smart DNS Proxy is the only one still working as of this writing, and it primarily supports Netflix catalogs from the United States and Canada.

Unless you have a specific need for Smart DNS Proxy beyond Netflix, we recommend using a high-quality VPN instead.

How to Find What’s Available in Other Netflix Regions

However, there is still a nagging issue: how to watch Netflix from other countries? When searching for a movie, how do you find out which country’s Netflix you can watch it on? To help with this, we’ve developed the uNoGS web app.

Using this app, you can search Netflix libraries all over the globe. All it takes is a quick search and your VPN or DNS settings will be changed to the appropriate country library.

Filtering by IMDb rating, the year a film was released and other categories is available when searching. You can, of course, select the country in which you want to conduct your search.

Can You Access Another Country’s Netflix Catalog by Using a VPN?

Your Netflix account will not be affected if you use a VPN to disguise your IP address and appear to be in a different country. An American Netflix account and an American IP address are required to watch shows that are only available in the United States.

Setting up a Netflix account outside of the country where you currently reside can be difficult. We were unable to open an account in the United States because our payment methods were not accepted there. Note that you’ll also need a US phone number to activate your Netflix subscription if you buy a Netflix gift card from Amazon. As frustrating as it may be, Netflix won’t give you a specific error message, but they’re probably aware of your attempt to cheat.

Using ExpressVPN, we were able to access German Netflix from Canada. Creating the account from scratch in a browser profile with a neutral browser history was the most important step (we used Firefox). No one had paid on any of our old accounts. To complete the transaction, we required a valid German phone number and payment information. However, make sure to use a good VPN because VPNs are known to slow down the internet connection.

Which VPNs Work With Netflix?

In order to avoid regional licensing restrictions, Netflix has been cracking down on virtual private networks (VPNs). We can’t guarantee that the methods outlined above will continue to work in the future.

Psiphon Pro and Private VPN rank high in our list of the best VPN services. Netflix US is one of the best catalogs in the world, and the first method always works. In terms of Netflix libraries, most countries are supported by Private VPN. Both of these services offer a risk-free trial period.

Well, that’s all we have here about how you can watch every Netflix show from any country. We hope this guide helped you. If you liked this, make sure to check out how you can watch Netflix Shows With Spatial Audio and whether sharing a Netflix password is illegal.
